Let's focus on posing!

Whether you are brand new to modeling or have been at it for awhile now, you know that one of the most difficult aspects to modeling is getting comfortable in front of a camera. It just doesn't come natural to us as human beings.

I created this collection of videos from a variety of creators across YouTube to give you a ton of tips to help you understand how to pose. With understanding (and a fair amount of practice) come an increased level of comfort.

Got through each of these videos that pertain to you but don't quit before the end where you'll get what I call "Professional Gold" from master photographer Peter Coulson.

Secrets From A Male Model

I haven't forgotten about you guys! These are incredible masculine posing tips straight from a former male model.

Professional Gold

Model Training Part 1

This is true gold so don't let the goofiness of Peter and Beck's opening interaction deter you from learning from this master photographer as he trains a newer model in what he wants from a model.

Model Training Part 2

If you watch both of these videos all the way through and then shoot with me, you will hear me use some of these same techniques and encouragements for you as I work to make you more comfortable in front of the camera.

Bonus: Fitness

Fitness Modeling Poses

This is a little goofy and not exactly what I think of for fitness shoots, but it's no less valid and perhaps will give you some additional ideas.

Now that you made it this far, you must be eager to start posing for the camera! Get your practice in and when we get together for our next photo shoot you will feel more confident and the result will be better pictures.
