Scars
Humans are built upon the scars that shape us. Scars are the evidence that we have lived and as long as we live we will continue to collect scars. Perhaps only psychopaths remain unscarred by life.
But a scar does not define us or determine our beauty. Beauty is a light that shines from deep inside us. Scars may redirect that light in places, but they don't have the power to block the light completely.
Let your beauty shine and be proud of your scars for they make you different and unique from any other human on earth, but they do not make you less beautiful.
The main scar in these photos was only fx makeup to represent the scars that make us feel less than perfect. Sometimes those scars are physical, but the most frightening scars are the ones on the inside that perhaps only we see in ourselves.
